Production reality sits above repositories, project maps, summaries, and drafts. Conflicts are resolved upward.

The live external system is the highest authority. The public brain explains the model; the private brain records the map; neither overrules reality.

Security, recovery, alerting, access, payments, and device behavior remain independent release gates.

Polish cannot erase operational blockers. Readiness is a set of evidence-backed gates, not an average score.
